Feedback tool added to Windows application

by Jason

We have added our tools to a third party Windows application that is due for launch in March.  The tool allows users of the application to provide feedback as well as a screen capture of the application.  The users will be able to draw on the screen capture to highlight their feedback.

The product is still under wraps but when it is released, we will give more information about it and how our Capture2Web technology is helping get customer feedback.

Linux and Mac Development

by admin

We have started porting our tools to Linux and Mac platforms and should hopefully be able to offer them in our products by the end of Q1 2010.  Cross platform development is a hard option.  We have to make a choice whether we use a framework or build individually for each system.  Our decision is also effect by our special needs of being able to access the underlying graphics system as well as be able to communicate to web services easily and as a background process.

Our target is to drop in the first set of tools into BugFeeder by the end of March 2010.

Overhaul of UI, blogs and forums

by Jason

We have spent the last month sorting out the UI of our websites and making them easier to use. Each product now has a fresh new website along with their own forum and blogs. We think that this approach is more sensible as it allows users of our products to go directly to the information that is relevant to the product that they use.

WebReview.Me – Take screen capture to the next level with WebReview.Me which is a communication and collaboration tool for your project.

BugFeeder – BugFeeder allows annotated screen captures to be sent directly to your existing bug/issue tracking system. Check out BugFeeder.com.

PrintScreen.Me – Send images directly to Twitter, Facebook, Picasa and Flickr. Check out our free screen capture tool at PrintScreen.me.

BugFeeder Released to Beta

by liz

We are please to announce that BugFeeder is now in beta.

BugFeeder is a web service linking simple screen capture tools to existing bug/issue tracking systems. This gives you the benefits of precise and accurate information reporting from your testers without having to change your current bug tracking system. Your developers will no longer have to deal with inconsistent, badly defined, potentially incorrect and long winded bugs which in turn should make it easier and quicker for them to fix.

WebReview.Me has now been released

by liz

WebReview.Me is now up and available for open beta release. We are still finishing off some of the projects and adding a couple more. Hopefully potential customers will see the potential of joining up now and possibly getting projects developed or changed slightly to reflect their working practices.

We have also split out the gateway projects and so www.bugfeeder.com will be launching at the end of August.
